Dogs (and Other Pets) at Fields

Dogs and other pets are not allowed at the fields anytime during soccer practices or games. Some of the sites where soccer practices and games are scheduled and conducted (e.g. schools) prohibit pets from being brought onto their grounds even when soccer activities are not being conducted.

Exceptions to this rule are for service animals only. Service animals are defined by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) as only dogs or miniature horses that have been trained to do work or perform tasks for the benefit of an individual with a disability. Other animals, whether wild or domestic, do not qualify as service animals.

If a dog or other pet is brought to a practice or game, you will be asked to remove it from the field immediately. Please note that this policy is in place to ensure a safe environment for players, coaches, referees, and spectators. Your understanding and cooperation in keeping pets away from the soccer fields is greatly appreciated.
