Important COVID Information

For the 2021 Fall Season, special requirements have been put in place for COVID-19 compliance. Your cooperation and consideration in complying with these requirements is greatly appreciated.

**** NOTE: PV AYSO SPONSORED COVID-19 TESTING HAS BEEN DISCONTINUED AS OF THE END OF THE FALL 2021 SEASON ****

1. Mask Requirements at PVPUSD Fields

Masks must be worn by ALL spectators and coaches for games and practices being held at PVPUSD fields. Players are not required to wear masks, but may elect to do so.

PVPUSD has mandated the aforementioned mask requirement for anyone using their fields.

2. Weekly COVID-19 Testing

Any volunteer or player 12 years of age or older that is NOT vaccinated must submit to weekly Covid testing.

COVID testing for PV AYSO players and volunteers will be held at Highridge Park on Mondays from 4 - 5:30 PM. Here is what to expect when you test at Highridge Park:

  1. You will go to the website lab-fast.com to register (you cannot do this ahead of time because you need the number from the test kit). During registration, you will be asked to provide your medical insurance information. If you have insurance, you can just take a picture of your card. If you do not have insurance, you can leave that section blank.
Note that there is no out-of-pocket cost for testing, and you will only have to enter this information once.
  2. You will be provided a test kit and will perform the nasal swab by yourself. When you are done, you will return the kit to Michelle, our compliance officer.
  3. Your results will be sent to the email you provided during your registration or you can check for the results at the same website lab-fast.com.

Note: PVPUSD testing may NOT be used to certify a player for AYSO eligibility. You must either use the testing provided by PV AYSO or perform testing on your own. The only exception is if your child is required by the school district to take a COVID test because (1) your child is an athlete in high school, or (2) because of possible exposure (e.g. close contact at school). If either of these conditions apply, then the same test can be used for both PVPUSD and AYSO purposes.
